Team Baseball Drills

Drills that get the whole team involved are great for duplicating game situations and generally are a lot of fun for the kids. It can be difficult for a player to practice at the same level of competition that he will experience during a game. It can also be difficult for players to apply what they practice in game situations when they have to think about the situation and make a quick decision about where to go with the baseball. Team drills are a great way to practice those game type situations, providing players with an opportunity to mimic game type decisions so they are better prepared for those baseball situations when they happen in a real game.

It's important to remember that baseball practice drills can get somewhat monotonous if your not careful. Try to turn drills into fun games and competitions whenever possible. Not only will the kids enjoy it more, they'll also work harder at the skill.
